Ulrico Grech-Cumbo
Ulrico is the founding director of Acappella Productions. Ulrico qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and it is this background that adds a systematic approach to tasks, concepts and logistics. Despite having worked overseas in the past for companies such as Honda Formula 1, Ulrico believes that the South African public event market has abundant potential. His creative high-energy drive combined with careful attention to detail helps increase the versatility of the Acappella team as a whole.
Brendan Marsay has worked in live sound and lighting events since 1993. Starting out in stage productions, he has progressed to being a technical consultant and engineer for the Broadcast Industry. Brendan has worked on productions such as Idols and Carte Blance, live international sport events, studio design and transmission system development. At Acappella, his gift lies in live music mixing, lighting design, live recording for TV/DVD, remote live broadcast engineering, video editing and post production.
Taryn leads Acappella Productions' stage design, set design, special event costume design and conceptual artwork. With a BA Dramatic Arts with Honours in Set and Costume Design and Event Production Development to her name, Taryn has experience ranging from staging design and fabrication with Gearhouse to themed costume design and manufacture for Sheer Records. As hands-on as they come, her creativity, commitment, individualism and superior quality of work are put to good use at Acappella Productions.
With a formal background
in marketing and graphic design, Kathy is both webmaster and designer for our corporate MySpace and website. She is
hugely passionate and ambitious, traits that Acappella have capitalised on by setting her creativity free. Kathy excels at
all her work, but is particularly gifted at allowing concepts to materialise into physical form. She further demonstrates
the power of the Internet in present day and age: Kathy performs her duties while traversing to and from her home in Spain.
