Bunny Chow: Acappella Productions an official partner - Thursday 1 March 2007

Acappella Productions' has partnered with Ster Kinekor Film Distribution to promote the new South African motion picture by director John Barker, Bunny Chow. Using the pull of the weekly Comedy Twist series at Tanz Cafe, Acappella Productions showcases the trailer to the comedy-loving public each week in an effort the generate awareness of the movie, and ultimately keep it on circuit for as long as possible.

Acappella Productions' other responsibility is to campaign the movie online. This includes direct-to-public marketing on the corporate MySpace and e-mail database, as well as a carefully-tracked trailer campaign on You Tube.

Randburg Sun: "Comics convulse Hot Orange" - Thursday 14 December 2006

Acappella Productions' comedy experiment called "the walk-thru comedy experience", was featured in the regional newspaper, Randburg Sun. The comedy night was named so because the Hot Orange restaurant in Boskruin has no central stage, so Acappella sent the lineup of comedians through the restaurant on wireless microphones, preying on unsuspecting comedy fans!

Sandton Chronicle: "Party promotes a purpose" - Wednesday 13 December 2006

Acappella Productions threw their year-end cocktail party with Vegastar Records on the 3rd of December. Despite the glitz, glamour and sea of local celebrities, the real motive behind the event was to raise awareness and funds for a highly respectable yet relatively unknown charity, Just One Child.
